French Cuisine

French Cuisine – Ooh-la-la!

Breakfast – Expanded continental breakfast of cereal/muesli, yoghurt, fruit juice, baguette, toast, croissant, cheese, ham, tea and coffee.

Lunch – A cold buffet served outside on the terrace with the option of soup. Usually a starter, main course, cheese board with salad, fresh fruit, coffee, vin ordinaire.

Pre-dinner aperitif of Pineau or Kir.

Dinner – Served on the terrace with a starter, main course from our chef’s repertoire of French cuisine, cheese board and dessert, coffee, vin ordinaire. Dessert can be fresh strawberries or a delicious tart from the local patisserie.

All dishes for lunch and dinner are made from locally produced fresh produce as far as possible – no pre-prepared meals are used. The cuisine is typically French in style.

Coffee and Tea are available at all times in the residential block on a self-service basis.



Room 1 is downstairs and larger than the other three rooms. This room has a double bed and looks out over the terrace and the garden. It is only six steps from the swimming pool gate. Evening sun.

Rooms 2 is upstairs and has two single beds and is priced per person for shared occupancy. It has French doors and a false balcony, looking out over the fields towards the woods. Morning sun. This room is also available as a single, one bed sliding under the other, for the same price as Room 3.

Rooms 3 is upstairs and has one single bed. It has French doors and a false balcony, looking out over the fields towards the woods. Morning sun.

Room 4 is the smallest room and is upstairs and has one single bed. Its price per person is lower than that of the other three rooms because it does not have a view.

The rooms are basic but comfortable, with fans and mosquito nets provided. There are two bathrooms. Should there be the need, there are two extra bathrooms in our house which is just alongside and where lunch and dinner will be served.


Seven nights and six days, with travel on the seventh day. Anyone with a departure time in the afternoon will be offered a cold lunch as normal.

Bridging Days are available between two weeks at the cost of GBP 100 per day.

Please let us know when you book if you are taking advantage of the bridging days so that we can arrange the cleaning rota in advance.



Payment is by internet bank transfer. Details will be provided when we receive your booking. 30 per cent should be paid at the time of booking, with the balance being payable on or before two calendar months before the start date of your week/s.

In the first instance, please fill in our Contact Form which asks for details of the nights by date and which room you would like to have a bed in. When we confirm your booking we will send you details of our bank account. Once your reservation is confirmed, please let us know what travel arrangements you have made and, in particular, if you want to take advantage of our collection and delivery service (Euros 100 round trip). Also, it is helpful if you tell us in good time if you have any special dietary requirements.
